PCT842 DC Immune Current Transformer

Electrical Specification

DC immune transformers are used to detect AC currents in the presence of DC bias. Current transformers can generate voltages as the current flows. They are primarily used to detect AC currents in circuits, so the presence of a DC bias can distort AC measurements.
Resistant to DC means that they do not react to or distort AC measurements and therefore allow for more accurate AC measurements even in the presence of DC bias.
